Decorating with Bamboo Outside Blinds
With summer now approaching it’s the perfect time to
re-decorate your outside living area.
With bamboo outside blinds you will be able to totally change the look
and feel of your entertaining and living area.
Plus they’ll also be perfect to keep out the sun, wind and rain.
Bamboo outside blinds come in a wide range of colors
and can be purchased in a variety of
sizes to suit most areas. If you do have an unusual sized area you can
also get some blinds custom made to suit your exact measurements.
There’s two distinct style of bamboo outside blinds that you
can use. If you have an open pergola and
want to cover the sides, roof to floor, the best option would be roll up
blinds. These are a tightly weaved
bamboo screen which rolls from the bottom up.
They are very neat and can be quite hidden away up the top when not in
use. These roll up style can come in up
to 8ft long and 10ft wide in standard purchased blinds but you can also get
larger custom made ones if needed.
The other style is bamboo venation blinds. These would be more suitable for smaller
window sized areas. The extra advantage
of the venation style bamboo outside blinds is that you can have them lowered
but open to still allow some light and airflow through.
The roll style of bamboo outside blinds have been used for
centuries and the good news is that it’s incredibly easy to install them. All you have to do is screw in your hooks and
then just hang the blind header on the hooks.
The Venetian style of bamboo
outside blinds take a little extra to install but with the step by step
instructions they can be put up in quite a short time by anyone.
If your looking to purchase a set of these blinds they can
normally be found at most outdoor living stores. They range in quality and price but just
because your buying the most expensive ones doesn’t mean you getting the best
quality. If your not going to have them
down and exposed to the weather much there’s a good chance you won’t need to
have the highest quality. The sun and
rain can put your blinds to very harsh treatment so if you do use them most of
the time for protection against the weather I’d highly recommend going for the
best quality that you can afford.
